Andrea is now giving her time on creating her Foundation called The Lotus Foundation, which mission is to 1) educate young, men, women, and families on leading healthier, better economic, and overall more empowered lives through making lifestyle changes and (2) collaborate with other charitable organizations whose mission and purposes are in line with the Foundation.

LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS… Discusses his Foundation's efforts

Have you thought of starting your own non profit organization or foundation? If so, what would we be the mission?

I have a foundation called the Shaun Livingston Foundation. Our mission is to plant a seed into the lives of those less fortunate! We help underprivileged kids, with illnesses, in single family homes and all who are less fortunate. I didn’t have much but I had enough and sometimes more than others and I was thankful for that. I want them to know that there opportunities and HOPE!

Are you involved in any previous school programs? If so, how do you contribute?

Yes, I am involved in a few school programs. I give bundles of tickets to 6 schools for honor students so they can come to our games, wear the T-Shirts, and have a meet and greet. Its for the Shaun Livingston Foundation and its called Shaun’s Shorties!

Do you have a favorite charity? If so, what is the primary focus of that organization?

My favorite charity is the St Jude’s Foundation. I visited St Jude’s Hospital in Illinois when I was there for my summer basketball camp for the Shaun Livingston Foundation. To see children able to receive treatment and help to possibly make their lives and health better is a great thing. The HOPE you can bring a child by just visiting them. Those children are a blessing.
